Let me put your mind at rest about how I train, and hopefully encourage you to dip your toe (and your dog’s paws!) into the fabulous world of gundog games!

What petdog gundog training with Pippa’s Pooches is not…

❌ We will not be putting slip leads on your dog and ‘popping’ or ‘yanking’ on their necks

❌ You do not need to ever aim to take your dog to a shoot, a trial or a working test (I don’t offer training for any of these activities)

❌ You don’t have to wear tweed (unless you want to 😆)

What pet gundog training with Pippa’s Pooches IS..

✅ Training provided by myself as a qualified behaviourist.  Not only can I train dogs, but I also understand canine behaviour and the science behind how dogs learn.    You’re not just getting training, you’re getting a holistic training approach to everything you need for your spaniel.. I can even bore you with nutrition, your dog’s gait, enrichment … the list is endless 😆

✅ The classes AND the 1:1s are friendly, fun, no-pressure environments where you work at your own pace

✅ All the training methods are reward-based, modern and games-based …we use treats and plenty of them! (FYI any trainer who doesn’t is most likely using aversive techniques/equipment)

✅ Pet gundog training is just that, for pet dogs, I tailor every session and class so that they are relevant to your lifestyle with your dog… no generic training here!
